📊 Consistency Rules
Lucid Trading requires that profits be generated consistently and not in a single stroke of luck.
Therefore, it uses the 40% consistency rule:
No single trading day can account for more than 40% of the total accumulated profits in the account.
This rule aims to ensure that the trader has a balanced distribution of results, demonstrating control and stability in their trading.
📑 Lucid Trading Rules
🔒 Prohibited Strategies
Lucid prohibits practices such as the following to protect capital and ensure a fair environment:
- Hedging between accounts or platforms.
- High-frequency trading HFT with fast algorithms.
✅ Permitted Strategies
At Lucid, traders have the ability to adapt their trading style as long as they adhere to risk rules.
- News trading.
- Scaling in DCA entries.
- Responsible scalping.
- Automation and use of trade copiers.
- Flipping to meet minimum trading days.
⏰ Trading Hours
For LucidTest, LucidPro, and LucidDirect accounts: each position must be closed before 4:45 PM EST.
For LucidLive accounts: swing trading is allowed, and positions can be held open indefinitely, with margin control.
🧐 News Trading at Lucid Trading
Trading based on economic news is permitted at Lucid Trading without any particular restrictions. This means that you have the option to open or close positions just before, during, or after relevant economic announcements are made.
However, this freedom comes with responsibility, as news events tend to cause high volatility and possible slippage in execution prices, as well as other unexpected circumstances.
⏳ Inactivity rule
Lucid Trading accounts have an upper limit on days without activity:
- Challenge “evaluation” accounts: If no trading occurs for 7 consecutive days, they will be deemed non-compliant and deactivated.
- Funded accounts “LucidLive / Funded accounts”: If there is no activity for 30 consecutive days, they are automatically deactivated.
💸 Lucid Trading Payment Policy
LucidLive, Lucid Trading’s most advanced program, allows traders to trade with real money and access a transparent and flexible payment system:
Withdrawals from day one: There are no waiting periods or minimum amounts set for requesting a payment.
80/20 profit split: Lucid Trading retains 20% of net profits to ensure the sustainability of the program, while the trader receives 80%.
Total flexibility: As long as the trader maintains sufficient funds to continue trading, it is possible to withdraw available capital from day one.
Progressive Escrow: A percentage of the profits generated in previous stages is kept in a reserve or escrow. As the trader demonstrates consistency in live trading, this amount is gradually released, thus ensuring responsible and orderly growth.
🛡️ Security and Recovery System
Lucid Trading understands that temporary losses are a natural part of trading. For this reason, the program has a Safety Net that was created to protect and offer second chances:
LucidEscrow: If a LucidLive account is liquidated, the trader is automatically transferred to a LucidEscrow account.
Second Chance: With this simulated account, the trader has the opportunity to demonstrate consistency again and qualify for a LucidLive account.
Controlled Progression: Re-entry capital is adjusted according to the available escrow, ensuring that the trader always has a way back without being excluded from the program.
